Professional wrestling has never been lower than this cheap cash battle, and this cheap cash battle ruined one of the best events of the year.
WWE certainly knows how to put a damper on a good thing.
WrestleMania Backlash continues the recent series of WWE watch paid shows, which are full of exciting games and fascinating stories, but many people will remember this because of the terrible cheap zombies.
Thankfully, the actual wrestling is enough to prevent one of the company’s worst ideas from really dragging the show into the quagmire.
But zombie loggers?
Yes, read it again. WWE turned the lumberjack in the Miz-Damien Priest competition into a zombie, basically a big commercial for the new movie “Army of the Dead” by the former wrestler turned actor Dave Bautista.
Thanks to The Miz and Priest and John Morrison, they tried to make the most of this absolute disaster. They even joined forces to fight the zombies.
WWE put the zombie in context by showing a tweet by Bautista, who said he couldn’t do it, but “some of my friends will do it.”
But all this is one of the worst things WWE has ever done. They even dimmed the lights and filled the ThunderDome video board with weird house graphics.
Somehow, zombies flew from all over the field, terrified the broadcast team, they knew they would not participate in the game during the game.
But they made sure to “eat” Meads after defeating Meads.
WWE led its bow and arrow routine to the movie’s commercial even after Priest won.
The game feels so secondary. Pay-per-view viewing will destroy your creativity and products, so that you can not promote the movie, which will only make people taste bad.
Mitz will probably spend an unforgettable excuse on Monday Night Raw this week to prove his way of survival.
Either, or we get a zombie Metz and Morrison who were also eaten. Just for due diligence, we have now seen WWE burn a living person (the devil) to death, and have been swallowed alive by bloodthirsty undead in the past six months.
