About 40 kilometers from Adelaide, the 128.4 hectare property includes a six-bedroom house, 40 hectares of vineyards, winery, wine cellar and function center.

Darren Pratt, the head of Ray White Barossa-Two Wells, sold the property with Daniel Schell. He said the family-owned and operated business was founded in the mid-1990s when the Pipicella family planted the first vines.

“They created a winery, a wine cellar, and now there is a great function center there,” he said.

“But now is the time for the family to move on.”

The vineyard produces many varieties, including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot and Merlot.

All equipment for crushing 499 tons and 90,000 liter storage tanks per year is provided with the brewery.

The currently rented restaurant and function center can accommodate 120 people, while the grass area provides more entertainment space.

Mr. Pratt said it has been used in weddings and outdoor movie nights many times.

The property also has an old six-bedroom house, a total of 96.08 milliliters of water permits, three equipped boreholes and 150,000 liters of rainwater storage, a five-room machinery shed, and ample livestock space, including sheep, cattle and horses.

Mr. Pratt said that it is already a vast property, but there is more potential.

“The property has a lot of room for bed and breakfast accommodation,” he said.

“You can plant more vineyards or use (more extensively) pastures than you currently have.

“It is very rare to own 300 acres of land in these areas.”

According to CoreLogic’s records, the property was sold on the market for four and a half years with another agency before it was taken off the shelves in January this year. It has been relisted this month.

Mr. Pratt said that so far, a series of potential buyers have shown interest in the property.

“I received calls from restaurant and cafe owners, brewers, investors, and lifestyle people,” he said.

He said it is also suitable for those who are keen to live in this property but rent out the rest to the operator.
