After the authorities checked 269 people to ensure they were in self-isolation upon returning to the state, the two Victorians were deliberately violated the red zone permit.

Currently, there are more than 9,000 active red zone permits in Victoria. All permits must be quarantined for 14 days regardless of a negative COVID-19 test result.

Victorian COVID-19 test commander Jeroen Weimar acknowledged the difficulty of quarantining for 14 days and provides support to those struggling in their daily work.

“If you need any support, if you need help getting food, if you need money, if you have other care and responsibilities, please contact us so that we can help you arrange these support arrangements,” Mr. Weimar said.
