New South Wales Finance Minister Dominic Perrottet said that the first grant application for companies affected by the Sydney lockdown will begin on Monday.
“I really want to make it clear to those who are under pressure today that for workers across the state, if your working hours are reduced, you can contact the Australian Department of Service,” he said.
“The Australian Department of Services provides remuneration to all workers, not only in the Sydney metropolis, but also reducing working hours across the state.
“In addition, businesses, small and medium-sized self-employed individuals can also get support through the New South Wales Service Authority.
“Tomorrow our first grant application will be open, and companies affected during this lock-in period can apply for up to $15,000.
“So these applications will be available through the New South Wales Services Agency tomorrow. They will be processed in about 4-5 days.”
