A video shared by firefighters in Northern California showed that the Dixie fire engulfed trees. By July 27, the fire expanded to more than 208,000 acres. Montecito firefighters shared a video on Instagram showing that forest fires are burning in Plumas and Butte counties in Northern California. Officials said there were more than 5,100 people fighting the fire. The title of the post reads that the four Montecito firefighters assigned to the nearby Bakerworth Complex will be released on July 26 after working at the scene for 14 days. “We are very happy to welcome them home and thank the staff who changed shifts today for stepping up to help the communities in Pramas and Butte counties,” the post read.
