The tragic death of the legendary Manly Sea Eagles and rugby league immortal Bob Fulton shocked the entire NRL community.

The immortal rugby league Bob Fulton passed away.

Fulton fought a long-term battle with cancer and passed away on Sunday morning surrounded by close friends and family.

2GB radio host Ray Hadley (Ray Hadley), one of Fulton’s closest friends, confirmed the shock news.

An emotional Hadley said on the radio: “Today is a very sad day for the Fulton family and the Rugby Union.”

“I announced some sad things on the radio, but this may be the saddest… I will miss him, he is a great man… the most loyal friend I have ever had. Sadly he will be missed. “

Several of Fulton’s 2GB colleagues talked about the sadness after the death of the legend.

Darryl Brohman shared the comment box with Fulton for more than a decade and shed tears in paying tribute to him.

Brahman said: “Bob and I are diametrically opposed in many ways. He is healthy, immortal, and has a different sense of humor, but we succeeded.”

“We were very frustrated, but when he finished the work here (2GB), he said’I like working with you very much’, which is what I have always cherished.

“It’s so difficult.”

Two 2GB commentators, Mark Ridell, also paid tribute to Fulton.

“He is the eldest child of all of us, and we used to have a great time. I express my sincere condolences to Annie and the entire Fulton family.”

David Morrow, a member of the continuous call team, broke down when talking about Fulton.

“I was shocked because he has been an important part of me since I came to Sydney as a broadcaster in 1980.

“Geez, some players owe him. It’s like a dagger in the heart.”

Fulton’s wife Anne, Scott, Brett and daughter Kirsty’s son survived.
