Australian netball team chairman Marina Go and lightning coach Kylee Byrne have imposed penalties on Fever for violating the salary cap.
Kylee Byrne, the coach of the Sunshine Coast Chargers, had a broken relationship with Netball Australia, claiming that the fines given to West Coast Fanatics for violating the historical salary cap were not severe enough.
After self-reporting of serious violations of the cap regulations in the 2018 and 2019 seasons, fever athletes were fined 12 points and a fine of $300,000.
Although Australian netball penalties are unprecedented, the suspension points only three wins, and the Heat’s comeback victory in the blitz at Sunshine Coast University on Saturday night eliminated them in just three weeks of the season.

Go said that if the results of the fever team do not change much from the 2018 and 2019 teams that violated the cap, the fever team will not enter the finals until a few months after the cap is revealed. For the game, this will not not feeling well.
