Self-isolation proved to be fertile ground for Sam’s Instagram account Sam Neal And twitter @TwoPaddocks Here, he filmed the “Cinema Quarantino” movie with guest stars such as Hugo Weaving to entertain himself and people around the world.
After filming “Jurassic World: Reign” in the UK last year, he returned to his farm in Central Otago, New Zealand, and recently completed the harvesting of his winery “Two Ranches”.
My first holiday memory…
During a family fishing expedition, our tent was blown away in the Southern Alps. We slept in the van at three in the morning and found it in the tree the next day. My father can catch fish, but he is covered by a tent.

In 1956, we returned to New Zealand. I’m not sure if it’s the UK or New Zealand, but I have all rights.
The most interesting person I met on the plane was…

I used to work in China and held a banquet to show respect. My landlord made it clear that about 30 main dishes are very special, so for me, if I don’t eat it, I will lose face. That is tortoise stew.

The worst thing that happened during my trip…
Landed once in India. We almost hit another plane that had crossed the runway, and we had to roar back to the sky. In the next 20 minutes, it took me a long time to comfort my family, which is very routine. I lied. I think this is the closest place to death for each of us.
My most memorable flying experience
Before 9/11, I was often invited into the cockpit and often talked to the pilot when landing. On a Qantas plane, we arrived at Wellington Airport on a strange and peaceful day and reflected on Cook Strait. I said, “Wow, look at that-I bet you can barely see that. It’s dead.” The captain replied, “Man, we have a headache in Wellington. Very short runway.”
How many countries have I visited? …
I lost something with 50 points. These are just people I have worked for.
Not up to expectations…
Calls me exhausted, but there are many. Tourism does not play a big role in favor. My advice: try to find places where tourists don’t go in large numbers.

The best meal I have eaten when I travel…
It’s all the caviar you can eat on the Place de la Concorde. It almost makes up for the claustrophobic little cabin. You can hardly see caviar these days. Or concord, come there.
The place I go most often is…
Australia. I still call New Zealand home (sing!), but I go to Australia again and again. I think of Torres Strait Islands. I want to find someone to rent a boat for me to get around some small islands. They are very remote, I want to poke there and see what it is. That is an unfulfilled ambition.
Where should Australia visit New Zealand?
If they are the kind of people who are active in jumping bridges, that is not something I recommend, but if you are mature like me, Dunedin is interesting and beautiful.
The Otago Peninsula is located on the side of Dunedin’s port and has so many small beaches, penguins and seals. The landscape is extraordinary, and the town’s architectural heritage is very rich. This is a pleasant place and I can’t recommend it too much.
