Do not. 508/357 Glenmore Road Veronika Turnbull of Richardson and Wrench Double Bay is set to auction on May 19 for a guide of $2.7 million.
The bathroom was installed by a tiler who flew from Italy.
This extraordinary residence is the brainchild of Paul Tsalikis and his partner Miguel. Mr. Tsalikis said that this hotel was inspired by the innovative boutique hotels they have stayed in all over the world.
“The lighting was inspired by the stay at the W hotel in Hong Kong-it was very moody and in a way a rock star,” he said.
The apartment covers an area of 168 square meters, with an underground garage and an outdoor terrace.
The bedroom is inspired by the hotel.
The owner spared no effort to design.
The attention to detail is most evident in the bathroom Mr. Tsalikis described as “worthy of being used on Instagram”, where there are Versace tiles and stylish fixtures.
A bricklayer from Italy flew to Australia to install them, because a bricklayer with sufficient experience was needed to complete the project.
“It’s like a work of art,” Mr. Tsalikis said.
The auction date has been set for May 19th.
The stairs are handmade in Nessie.
“Everyone always takes pictures in the bathroom when they come over.”
The two-storey apartment has an open-plan layout on the lower floor, with living and dining areas and a balcony.
There are two bedrooms upstairs, leading to a terrace with street views. Other features include Poliform’s integrated kitchen and dressing room.
