Luxury homes in one of Adelaide’s popular western suburbs were snapped up at seven-figure prices, setting a new price benchmark for the area.

CoreLogic’s data shows that only two other residential land in the suburb have sold for more than US$1.415 million. Both plots have an area of ​​more than 4,500 square meters and can accommodate multi-family houses.

Carmine Catalano, the sales agent of Ray White West Torrens, said that six potential buyers have registered to bid for the Messenger Rd home, which was purchased by an Adelaide family.

“They live in Magill and they want to move to the west,” said Mr. Catalano, who sold the property with Clarence Tiong.

“They are going to move the whole family in.

Mr. Catalano said that the owner who bought the property for US$1 million ten years ago moved to the UK before Covid-19 and therefore decided to sell the house.
