The New South Wales Department of Health is investigating four staff members suspected of violating public health orders and departmental codes of conduct. They participated in an anti-blockade protest in Sydney last weekend.
A NSW paramedic is currently under police investigation and has been suspended, but it has not been confirmed whether the case is included in the four ongoing investigations.
A health spokesperson for New South Wales told The Australian: “The health agency of New South Wales is aware of reports that four workers have participated in the blockade protest.”
“Every report is under investigation, and any individual found to have violated the Code of Conduct will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action.”
