“For Australia, the moment of sitting at the table has never been more important”: The Prime Minister attends the G7 summit in the UK

Prior to the important G7 summit, Prime Minister Scott Morrison had arrived in Oxfordshire, England, and said that “Australia is sitting at such a table. This is an unprecedented and important moment”. Mr. Morrison stated that Australia’s economic and health success in fighting the coronavirus pandemic, promoting a rule-based order, climate change and a new energy economy, and ensuring that the Indo-Pacific region is protected from foreign threats will be the key focus of the meeting.
