“The competition is very fierce,” Mr. Milonas said.
“In the beginning, there were many bidders, and until the end, until the million-dollar mark was broken, there were still four reliable bidders facing each other head-on.”
He said that “quality homes” are “selling at higher prices” and buyers are looking to nearby suburbs, including Northcote and Thornbury, and expanding to Reservoir and pushing up prices.
