Dr. Kerry Chant’s health advice hardly “inspires confidence”

Political strategist Brigid Meney said that Dr. Kerry Chant, Chief Health Officer of NSW,’s comments about not talking to others “are not the kind of comments that inspire confidence.”

Ms. Mayney told Sky News host Corey Bernardi: “I would love to see health advice, saying that you can’t socially distancing or chat with your lonely neighbor next door.”

“This level of repression will only make people who are already doing the right thing feel unnecessary fear, because they must continue to do more and more things and limit their social interaction, which has a huge flow effect on ordinary people.

“This is human instinct, and we want to keep it as human instinct.”
