Retired NRL legend Cooper Cronk and his wife, Fox Sports host Tara Rushton sold their home on the Lower North Shore of Sydney a week after the auction ended, and reportedly sold it for about $5 million.

The classic Mosman character residence was originally scheduled for auction on July 17 through Belle Property Mosman’s Stefon Bertram and Tim Foote, but the sold signs were late today.

Mr. Bertram will not comment on the sale, the identity of the buyer, or the price.

However, industry sources revealed that the house has been sold to local families at the upper limit of the guide price.

Mr. Bertram said that although Covid-19 within Sydney is under lockdown, the lower north shore market continues to be hot. He said that since the start of the lockdown, his office has sold eight properties in a week-at least two of which are worth about $10 million.

CoreLogic records show that Cronk and Rushton bought their Mosman Paradise for 3.5 million U.S. dollars in 2017.

In 2019, Cronk and Rushton received DA approval to carry out a renovation project estimated to be worth more than $860,000, but the work was never continued.

Earlier this year, they celebrated the birth of their second son, Harley, who is the brother of Lennox. He will turn three years old next month. The couple have been married since 2017.
