After the ugly reports, the absolute last thing Kevin Walters needs to get the Broncos coach under attack may be closer to the axe.
Broncos coach Kevin Walters does not need an injury crisis when the proud Brisbane club is overwhelmed.
As the club is at its lowest ebb in history, news on Tuesday night revealed that Walters was further hit, and four players were injured in Sunday’s training.
The injury caused another series of questions about the club’s football department.
Karmichael Hunt, Ben Te’o, Albert Kelly and Brendan Piakura all fell ill during the same training session. There have been reports that this situation is not well reflected in the club’s new high-performance manager Dave Ballard.

“Dave Ballard is the new strength and fitness coach for the Brisbane Broncos, and Sunday’s brutal training got worse,” said Ben Dobin of Channel 9.
“Karmichael Hunt had a torn calf, Ben Te’o had a torn calf, Albert Kelly had a torn hamstring, and Brendan Piakura had an ankle injury.
“When they play against the Sharks, three of these four players will play on Sunday.
“On Sunday, what the team will look like, as the blockade continues, we will know more, but it is not good news for the Broncos. Four people were injured last Sunday.”
This is the last thing Walters needs after a turbulent week. There are reports that his position has been threatened and some players are rebelling against him.
Walters had a dramatic backflip earlier this week About the future of unpopular stars Matt Lodge and Little Tavita Pange.
Walters’ turbulent lineup management put the Broncos in a free fall situation this year, and some of the biggest names in clubs have told them that they will not be wanted next year.
Pangai Jr and Jamayne Isaako were spotted talking to Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire earlier this year, And Lodge had previously been in contact with Newcastle. Full-fire organizer Anthony Milford is also looking for a new club.
However, a heavy report last week stated that some members of the Broncos had lost confidence in Walters and suggested that the new coach is already facing resistance from players.
Rocky publicly accused Walters of making players confused about some of his communications last week.
It follows the advice of Peter Badel of The Courier-Mail, namely Walters will prove in the first six rounds of the 2022 season that he should extend his contract After the end of 2022.
Walters’ public U-turn in Pangai Jr and Rocky is speculated to be the result of the arrival of the new head of football, Ben Ikin.
On Wednesday morning, Dean Ritchie of the Daily Telegraph cruelly summarized the dismal situation facing Walters.
“They lack everything. They are absolutely a mess,” he told Sky Sports.
“They don’t have anything to do at the moment. No players want to go there. Their roster is a mess. The players don’t know if they are coming or going. Tevita Pangai was told to leave, and then someone suggested that he stay. Now I am told Wests Tigers might Will sign him immediately and take effect. Matt Lodge comes and goes. Half comes and goes. Currently it is just a revolving door.
“Kev must raise his hand for part of his responsibility.”
Danny Weidler of Channel 9 also said on Tuesday: “If you listen to people in Brisbane who are in good shape, they will think that Kevey is under pressure again in various situations. He is under tremendous pressure. ,Enormous pressure.”
