Boris Johnson told the British public that starting from July 19, they must reduce the risk of Covid-19 infection based on their own judgment, and cancel hundreds of regulations on wearing masks, social distancing, gatherings and home work, and heralded Back to normal.
The Prime Minister will also announce plans for those who have been double-vaccinated to avoid returning from the Amber List countries or passing the quarantine requirements for testing and tracking contacts. More details will be provided later this week.
He said: “We must be honest with ourselves. If we cannot reopen our society in the next few weeks, then we will be helped when summer arrives and during school holidays. We must ask ourselves when we can reopen. Open? Can it return to normal?”
Downing Street stated that there is no need to wear masks in any environment in England, and companies that choose to wear masks compulsorily need to seek legal advice on their responsibilities under the Equality Act.
