Bill Lang, executive director of small businesses in Australia, stated that Governor Daniel Andrews’ mandatory decision to block Victoria’s state has harmed the state’s business sector. This is similar to “when Rome was burning, Nero was Fiddling”.
“These are government-induced blockades, fears created by the media, especially media channels for talking about crises-this is a government-induced crisis,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“We have nearly 30% of people who have been vaccinated once, so we have already started vaccinating, but the bigger and bigger problem here is that we will go from a pandemic to an epidemic.
“For 18 months, we have been talking about coexisting with the virus, letting adults make decisions, and getting vaccinated after the vaccine has been developed.
“But what happened to the governors of these states, especially the governors of Victoria, they were like Nero fiddled with things while Rome was burning, and then blamed Christians.”
