On May 10, a long line was seen at a gas station in Monroeville, Alabama. People were worried that the colony’s natural gas pipeline was shut down due to a cyber attack and caused a shortage. According to AL.com, the pipeline network transports more than 2.5 million barrels of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel every day, accounting for about 45% of the fuel consumed on the East Coast. There have also been reports of long-term and natural gas shortages in Florida, Georgia and Carolina.
