After 24 years of child searching, the Chinese family reunited with their kidnapped son

According to local police, a family in Shandong Province, China, was reunited with the kidnapped son on July 11, after he was kidnapped from his home in 1997 and after 24 years of search. Guo Gangtang’s son was 2 years old and was snatched by a woman in front of his home in Liaocheng. The Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security said that the police found the missing son in Henan Province and confirmed his identity through DNA evidence. The police held a reunion ceremony in the family’s hometown, which appeared in this video released by the Public Security Bureau.
