After investigating an incident different from the club’s verdict, the NFL has imposed a hefty fine on a star in Richmond.
After an investigation overturned the Bengals’ decision not to penalize players in Melbourne nightclub games, the NFL has imposed a fine of $20,000 on Richmond’s star game Shai Bolton.
In a statement issued on Tuesday morning, the AFL announced that Bolton’s actions during the incident “intensified the situation”.
The Tigers confirmed earlier this month Bolton and his star teammate Daniel Rioli are involved in a nightclub battleAllegedly the result of “improper” behavior towards Rioli’s Melbourne lady-girl friend Paris Lawrence.

According to reports, Rioli stepped in to protect his girlfriend and was punched. Then Bolton intervened to defend his teammates.
Richmond boss Brendon Gale (Brendon Gale) announced that because the Tigers believe that they are not wrong, the stars Bolton and Rioli will not be punished for participating in this battle.
According to reports two weeks ago, The AFL Integrity Department began to question the version of the incident narrated by Bolton and Rioli.
A person who claimed to be a witness of two AFL stars participating in a nightclub fight also reportedly claimed that the couple showed signs of anti-social behavior.
The AFL has now announced that Rioli has been cleared of any misconduct, but Bolton has been fined. He was not suspended for any game.
The AFL statement said: “Bolton admits that no matter what the situation, he should choose to escalate the situation rather than intervene in it.”
“Richmond and Bolton will donate US$20,000 to Tomorrow’s organization, which works with boys and men to develop healthy masculinity.”
AFL General Counsel Andrew Dillon (Andrew Dillon) said: “The investigation concluded that Mr. Chai’s actions that night may bring worse conditions to all those involved.
“Shai knew that the choice he made was the wrong choice. He admitted his mistake and is now responsible for his actions.”
This is a very different discovery compared to the discovery announced by Richmond earlier this month.
CEO Brendon Gale said: “We have a very strong culture here based on caring and networking and taking care of each other.”
“We hope they (Bolton and Rioli) did not (intervene in the dispute), but this is sometimes easier said than done.
“This requires a response to behavior that they think is absolutely inappropriate.
“They took steps to solve this problem.”
The LTTE issued a statement on Tuesday that Bolton had accepted his involvement as wrong.
Bolton said: “I have considered what happened recently and what might happen as a result of my actions.”
“When I saw what happened to Daniel, I instinctively acted. I now know that my instincts are wrong and my actions may lead to more serious consequences.
“I want to say publicly that I made the wrong choice, and I am sorry to participate in this way.
“The right choice is to get rid of the trouble, or let me do my best to stop what is happening and not do things that make things worse.
“In any situation, violence is never good, and I want to share this information with everyone. The right choice is to walk away.”
According to reports, earlier this month, Bolton rushed himself to the hospital on Saturday night and then notified the club on Sunday. Then the AFL was notified on Monday.
