A video released on May 7 shows the restored bear cubs returning to the wild after four months under the care of Colorado Park in Del Norte and wildlife officials. Colorado Park shared the picture of the little bear with the wildlife as she jumped off the truck and drove into a muddy path. According to officials, she was found “very thin”, weighing 13 pounds, and sustained minor injuries on her paw north of Durango in January. She was transported to the Frisco Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and “recovered to health”. Officials said that when she was released, the cub had fully recovered and weighed about 55 pounds.Credit: Colorado Parks and Wildlife-Durango’s Story
