On Saturday, a 15-year-old boy appeared in court and was charged with the murder of a teenager named Jalan Woods-Bell for the first time. He died after being stabbed in west London during a school run on Friday morning.
The police received a report that a battle had occurred on Blyth Road in Hayes before 8:35 in the morning. Woods Bell, also 15 years old, was found stabbed and died on the spot.
The accused teenager, who could not be named due to legal reasons, appeared in the Willsden District Court on Saturday.
Detectives from the Professional Crime Command are continuing to investigate the incident.
The Metropolitan Police said: “A 15-year-old boy from Hillingdon was charged with the murder of 15-year-old Jalan Woods-Bell on Saturday, June 12.
“He appeared in Willesden District Court on the same day and was detained-we await the latest news of his next appearance in court.”
The police said that an autopsy will be conducted on Sunday.
