According to a report on July 1st, representing the football clubs of Turkey’s main football league Super League, the Turkish Clubs League has partnered with the fan interactive platform Socios.com to promote innovation in the country’s football field announcement.

Socios has launched fan tokens for six Turkish football teams in different leagues. Together with more than 40 global sports organizations, Turkey’s Alanyaspor, Bursaspor, Galatasaray, Göztepe, İstanbul Başakşehir and Trabzonspor are using fan tokens and Socios’ voting and reward applications to attract fans and monetize them.

The new partnership makes this sports-focused blockchain company a fan participation partner of the club alliance. Socios will help unions apply new technologies to Turkish professional clubs to increase fan participation, create new revenue models and improve financial sustainability.
The announcement stated that as part of the transaction, the Club League and Socios.com will jointly hold a series of seminars and seminars to allow major industry players to have a dialogue on the latest trends affecting the football business.
Ticket sales and streaming media transactions account for a large part of the football industry’s revenue. Since most league games are either suspended for a period of time during the pandemic or played without spectators, clubs need new business models.
