Samsung launches Meta Festival store in Decentraland

Samsung is the latest large company to announce the meta-adventure project, and its meta-festival project chose Decentraland.

On January 6, 2021, the consumer electronics giant Announce When COVID-19 keeps people away from physical stores, open virtual copies of its iconic New York physical store to enhance customer interaction.

The Samsung Moon Festival store is a replica of an actual store located at 837 Washington Street in the Meatpacking District of New York City, Manhattan. The Samsung 837X store can now be accessed at the Metaverse limit. The company claims that it is one of the largest branded land acquisitions in the blockchain-driven Metaverse Decentraland.

Customers must first enter Decentraland using a web browser to access the store. After logging in, their avatars will be sent outside of Samsung’s Metaverse structure. When the avatar enters the lobby, the virtual guide will lead the avatar into one of the three internal rooms: sustainability, customization, and connection.

According to Samsung, the Samsung 837X store will feature “connecting theaters and sustainable forests” and will host music events in the “customization phase.”

The South Korean tech giant recently announced the release of a New smart TV series Has an integrated NFT platform. Micro LED, Neo QLED and The Frame are just a small part of Samsung’s 2022 smart TVs. They will be equipped with NFT platform applications for discovering, buying and trading digital art.
