On Tuesday, in an interview with Lex Fridman’s associate degree, Elon Musk shared his views on cryptocurrency, Dogecoin, Bitcoin, and the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin.
Musk, who has long been a supporter of the cultural cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE), revealed:
“I think part of the reason Dogecoin has some advantages is that even though it is definitely a joke, it does have a higher mass action capacity than Bitcoin.”
“The price of conducting collective actions, the cost of Dogecoin, is very low in regional units,” the Tesla government added.
As a difference, he said: “Now, if you want to try to do a collective Bitcoin action, then the value of doing that collective action is very high, so you may not be able to effectively use it for many things, or even effectively. Use it. Scale up.” After this interview was published, many of us tipped Musk about the Lightning Network on Twitter.
This is not the first time Musk mentioned that Dogecoin is healthier than Bitcoin in terms of transactions. In an interview with Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year”, he pointed out that Bitcoin is healthier as a useful store, and Dogecoin is more suitable for payment. He also recently announced that his car company, Tesla, can start accepting magistrates.
The head of Tesla’s business is usually celebrated in the cryptocurrency community for Dogefather. Anyone thinks:
I am not saying that it is the best system for currency, but I think it is indeed basically higher than other systems I have seen, which is simply unexpected.
Musk was also asked if he is still considering creating Dogecoin as the official currency of Mars. He replied: “I think Mars itself should have a special currency, because the speed of the sun cannot be synchronized, or it is not simple.”
He explained: “Mars is at the closest place, about four minutes away, so at the farthest point, it’s about twenty minutes away, maybe a little bit more. So if you have a 20-minute Sunshine speed is a problem. If it has a one-minute blockchain, you cannot synchronize one thing. It does not pay attention to the correct synchronization.” The Tesla boss continued:
I don’t know if Mars considers cryptocurrency as a problem, but it seems likely that there is no doubt about it. However, this will be a reasonable localization issue on Mars.
The Spacex boss was asked if he is what some people think is Satoshi Nakamoto. “I am not,” he answered quickly. “If you were, would you tell the North American countries?” He was asked. “Yes,” he was thoroughbred.
He went on to share his theory about who Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, might be.
“Before Bitcoin is launched, you will carefully examine the evolution of ideas and see articles from UN agencies on these ideas,” he began. While emphasizing, “Obviously I don’t recognize that the United Nations agency created Bitcoin for reasonable functions,” he elaborated:
The evolution of ideas is very clear, and it seems that Nick Szabo may be anyone else responsible for the evolution of these ideas.
“He claims to be not Satoshi Nakamoto, but I’m not sure this neither exists nor does it exist, but he seems to be more responsible for the ideas behind Bitcoin than anyone else,” Musk said.
