Multichain asks users to revoke approval in ‘critical bug’

Cross-chain router protocol Multichain (formerly Anyswap) urged users to revoke approval of the six tokens to avoid losses due to a “critical vulnerability” currently being exploited by malicious individuals.

The vulnerability was first detected by a security firm called Dedaub and has been reported to the Multichain team. The issue was then resolved and Multichain reported that all digital assets on their V2 bridge and V3 router were safe.

However, at present, hackers are still exploiting the vulnerability to obtain user funds. At the time of writing, Multichain reports that, all 445 WETH ($1,412,274.25) was affected.
