“Mice feel pain and fear”: PETA activists call for “morality” to kill mice as a last resort

PETA’s Aleesha Naxakis said: “The government has failed to control the number of rats, and now farmers have to work hard to protect their crops so that rats do not struggle to survive.” “PETA wants to remind everyone that rats are like dogs and cats in our shared home. Also like farmers, they will feel pain and fear. If they must be killed, it is morally correct and as painless as possible,” she said. The plague is expected to cause more than 100 million U.S. dollars in damage.
