Thaler has repeatedly believed that Bitcoin can replace gold. “Once upon a time, gold was the most important glamorous store. Bitcoin is currently replacing it,” he wrote on Twitter earlier this month. In November, he also believed that Bitcoin was “unstoppable” and could “become a category with more than 100 trillion US dollars.” In addition, the CEO pointed out, “Inflation is the disadvantage, and Bitcoin is the solution.”
