Police launch murder investigation after two killed in London British News

On Friday night, after emergency rescuers were called to addresses in the east and south of the capital, London launched two separate murder investigations.

Metropolitan Police said they received a report that shortly after 10pm, a residential address on Lordship Lane in East Dulwich was stabbed. A 36-year-old woman was found stabbed and died in the hospital later that night. Officials are trying to find and notify her close relatives.

A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. The police believed that the persons involved knew each other.

According to reports, a man in his 40s was attacked near the junction of Goresbrook Road and Treswell Road. The police also received an incident in Dagenham before midnight.

Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead on the spot. Is trying to find his close relatives. A 38-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and is still in custody.

An autopsy will be arranged for the two victims.
