Worrying videos have been released, protests erupted in Sydney and Melbourne, and thousands of anti-blockade demonstrators took to the streets of Australia’s two largest cities.

“This is not the reason for my support, but the license obtained by the police officer here makes me very worried. I have seen several arrests and the officials publicly threatened to’catch people’.”

The police appeared to handcuff a man from the melee.
The New South Wales Police said that due to public health orders, the march was not authorized, and many people on social media were dissatisfied with the mass gathering.
NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard said at a press conference today that the protests were “stupid” given the increasing number of Covid cases in New South Wales.
“We live in a democratic country, and I usually support people’s right to protest, but in fact I think it’s really stupid,” he said.
“Currently, we have countless cases. Some people think it’s okay to go out and possibly get close to each other during demonstrations. I just think it’s a bit silly.”
Protests followed The state recorded another record day for Covid-19 cases, and today there are 163 new cases.
The New South Wales Police received an application for protest, but was rejected.
According to current public health orders, people who are not from the same family cannot gather outside into more than two groups.
Even so, it must be for exercise.
A spokesperson for the New South Wales Police told news.com.au that the situation is continuing and some people have been arrested.
“The New South Wales Police Force recognizes and supports the rights of individuals and groups to exercise the right to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly, but today’s protest violates the current COVID-19 public health order,” they said.
“The priority of the New South Wales Police has always been the safety of the wider community.”
They said that as the participants dispersed, it would be convenient for people on George Street to move out of the city.
The train continues to run, and for those at the northern end, it is accessible via Wynyard and Circular Quay train stations.
For those at the southern end, entry will be via Central and Redfern, but limited at Town Hall Railway Station.
The St. James and Museum train stations are closed.
Melbourne shocked by protests
Protests also occurred in Melbourne. At least 1,000 protesters also gathered in the city’s central business district.
The health minister there also criticized the mass gathering-saying he was “very disappointed” by the protest.
He criticized the sport as a “crazy effort” and said that those participants were “on the side of the virus.”
“Please. Stand on the side of humans, not on the side of viruses,” he said.
There are also plans to hold a car rally in the blocked Adelaide, and the police warn them that they will arrest illegal activities.
