The Dragons’ barbecue violation has a new plot trend, because the provocative Dragon duo seems to choose to miss a month of football matches.
According to reports, when their teammates travel to Queensland on Wednesday, the dragon duo Zac Lomax and Daniel Alvaro will be left behind and may miss a month-long football match.
It was revealed on Sunday that Lomax and Alvaro were the only two Dragon players who refused to sign the oath document, which details Paul Vaughan’s now infamous barbecue incident, which violates the NRL’s Covid agreement.
This puts them on the periphery, as Dragons and 11 other clubs are preparing to relocate to Queensland to escape the Covid outbreak in Sydney.

News Corp According to reports, Lomax and Alvaro will not be eligible to travel with the team on Wednesday, and according to Brent Read of The Australian, they may be out for a month.
The couple are currently in a 14-day quarantine period. If they change their position on the documents after Wednesday’s moving day, they will have to quarantine for another 14 days in Queensland.
Lomax lives with his brother Hayden (a Dragons developer player), so he also faces the same fate as Zac.
The document was drafted by the NRL and the Rugby League Players Association to confirm that on Saturday, July 3, at the barbecue in Vaughan, no one from outside the bubble was present.
10 other players have already signed the document, and according to News Corp, they have been allowed to resume training on Monday. These players are Corey Norman, Jack Bird, Matt Dafty, Josh McGuire, Tyrell Fumano, Blake Laurie, Ced Ellis, Jack Debelin, Josh Cole, and Gerald Beal.
Although these 10 players will travel with the rest of the team on Wednesday, not all of them will participate in Friday’s San Giorgio Illawarra vs. Manly match. They were all suspended for one game for breaching the agreement, but these suspensions will be implemented within two to four weeks to ensure that the Dragons have enough players to form a team.
The club has not confirmed the suspension time for each player.
