The first round of Nick Kyrgios’ roller coaster at Wimbledon will resume on Wednesday night. This is everything you need to know.
The first round of Nick Kyrgios and Ugo Humbert’s roller coaster will be completed on Wednesday night, as their five setters have exceeded the famous curfew of the All England Club.
When their game was suspended at 11pm local time, the Australian team and Humbert scored 6-4, 4-6, 3-6, 6-1, 3-3.
The curfew at 11pm at Wimbledon was the result of a long-term agreement between the event and residents near the All England Club, who had previously complained about the interruption by Wimbledon customers and the noise from facilities.
Kyrgios’ first game is scheduled to restart at 11pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) and can be watched on Gem Channel 92.
The TV broadcast will start at 8pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time), and the game will start in the performance and outfields.
Kyrgios and Humbert may enter the fifth set tiebreaker. If locked 6-6 in the fifth set, Kyrgios and Humbert will score 10 points first.
The winners will enter the second round and they will play against Juan Ignacio Lundro or Gianluca Maje. Their game was also suspended on the second day, and the game progressed to the fourth set.
