Karl Stefanovic, the host of the breakfast TV show, has officially moved out of his epic beachfront rental house on Sydney’s North Shore to a more primitive place.
Mr. Stefanovic and his shoe designer wife Jasmine Stefanovic settled in a slightly outdated three-bedroom house just 1 km away from their previous Castlecrag address.

The latest updated property records show that the Stefanovic family acquired the ownership of their new residence two days before Sydney was blocked last week.

CoreLogic confirmed that the two paid $3.2 million for the North Shore property-$159,400 less than the median house price in the area.
The couple bought the house in March after it was initially listed for auction. According to data from realestate.com.au, Castlecrag is generally considered to be one of the most tightly controlled suburbs on the North Shore, with only a few houses currently on sale.
It is understood that the family may be planning some renovations to the entire brick house, including an independent studio with a bathroom and independent entrance.

This is much lower-key than the amazing beach house they have rented for the past 18 months.
The mansion even has a home theater.
There is also a north-facing landscape, private courtyard, spa, Jetmaster fireplace and a locked garage.
The Stefanovics were forced to find a place to stay after they sold a beachfront rental house with a home theater, wine cellar and private dock for $8.225 million at the end of last year. CoreLogic confirmed that the couple paid an estimated weekly fee of $2,900 during this period.
According to reports, the couple is considering decorating the interior.

The property was described as a “waterfront masterpiece” in the old listing advertisement and was designed by the famous architect George Bensen in 2002.
It spans four floors and provides internal elevator access, a German kitchen and a large living room.
Although Stefanovics will no longer enjoy direct water views in Sydney, they can still enjoy Queensland waterfront houses.
Of course, this is a good place to take a dip.
Just a few weeks before Covid-19 put Australia into a national lockdown last year, they bought the Noosa beach house worth $3.6 million. It has four bedrooms and is located on one of the most expensive streets on the Sunshine Coast.
During his tenure as the long-term co-host of Channel 9’s “Today” show, Mr. Stefanovic owned and leased many properties in Sydney. He previously rented a Mosman house near Taronga Zoo for $3,250 a week, and built a seaside mansion in Cremon with his ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn, which was later sold for $9 million. Records also show that he owns a character residence in Lindfield.
