Australian Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce continued to bear the pressure of his comments over the weekend.Daniel Hirst report:
In an interview with News Corp Australia, Joyce was asked whether the country needs to abandon the idea of zero Covid-19 cases. “It’s like saying I want zero flu cases. It’s impossible,” Joyce told News Corp’s Sunday tabloid.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said this morning that Spain will begin to require British tourists who want to enter Mallorca, Ibiza and the surrounding Balearic Islands to undergo a negative Covid test or vaccination certificate.
“What we have to do is to apply the same requirements to British tourists to the Balearic Islands as other European citizens,” Sanchez told Cadena SER radio. “They will need a full dose vaccine or PCR negative,” he added, referring to a coronavirus test.
