“Further inspection by the hospital ruled out any fractures by @RetoHollenstein and @chrisfroome after the crash today,” the team statement said.
“They will be monitored by the team’s medical staff overnight. Another update will be provided tomorrow morning.”
Froome participated in the Tour de France for the first time since he suffered multiple injuries when he hit a wall at high speed in May 2019.
