The organization has united to call on the Tasmanians to show the AFL what we have accomplished at the Brundstone Arena this Saturday.
Tourism boss Luke Martin helped us show how much Tasmania wants its own state team to the AFL bigwigs. He said that his organization will present a big prize to the biggest fans on Saturday.

A family of two adults and two children participating in the competition can win the “I can spend Tassie Winter Getaway on Goldie every day” package, which includes accommodations on the West Coast and Cradle Mountain, and passes for some of the best attractions in the state.
“The governor has issued an appeal to all Tasmanians to send another clear message to the AFL,” Mr. Martin said.
“Last week’s game in Launceston demonstrated the possibility of a team we can all fall behind, which will create a sensation for the major AFL clubs in the area.
“I have no doubt that Tasmania’s first game against Collingwood will be the largest event Tasmania has ever held in terms of attendance and media interest, and with our own team, this is Things we can look forward to many times a year, every year.
“But to do this, we must continue to consolidate the current momentum, which means emergence this week.
In a sarcasm against Tony Cochrane, owner of the Gold Coast Suns, Mr. Martin said that the prize offered was without shame from Tasmanians.
“We also know that any patriotic Tasmanian family would rather experience the beautiful Tassie during the July school holiday, and then stay on the boring Gold Coast.”
