A man in his 60s was found dead after he found a vehicle that was almost submerged in a flood in Victoria. At about 1:45 pm on Thursday, emergency services were called to Starlings Lane in Woodside, southeast of the state, after a member of the public warned authorities that a man was trapped in a car due to flooding. A team of rescuers rushed to the scene and recovered the man’s body. The death is currently being investigated and a report will be prepared for the state’s coroner.
