A four-year-old girl rang a bell to celebrate her completion of chemotherapy. After that, the nurses sang a serenade for her. When she left a children’s hospital in Oklahoma City on June 4, she was escorted home by a group of cyclists. OU Health provided this footage of Shyanna Jones ringing the bell at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. This video also shows the rider teaming up with 4 Children (a non-profit organization that aims to help children and families in need) to escort the Jones home. According to a Facebook page dedicated to her health issues, Jones was diagnosed with the rare disease hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis in 2020. Local media reported that Jones came to the hospital every two weeks for one year, receiving chemotherapy and oral steroids. Credit: OU Health via Storyful
