Strawberry and cream
On weekends, I occasionally like to treat dessert. If you have never made whipped cream from scratch before, you will be feasted! One of my favorite ways to lighten cream is to mash the cream and add it to Greek yogurt. It has a slight odor, full of fruit flavor, and can reduce fat and calories.Very suitable for making desserts quickly and easily, you can also try it Crepe Or on Yogurt Waffles.
I worked with Stonyfield, my favorite yogurt brand, and used their Stonyfield Organic 0% fat plain Greek yogurt. I love Stonyfield because I know that their products are “clear in purpose”-good for you, the planet and your taste buds. Their organic yogurt comes from dairy cows raised on pastures and does not contain toxic persistent pesticides. If you want to reduce your fat intake, then creamy 0% fat Greek yogurt is the ideal choice. In addition, it has a high protein content and has a lively active culture.
How to make yogurt cream:
All you need to make yogurt cream is a hand mixer and the following four ingredients:
- sugar
- fresh cream
- Pure vanilla extract
- Fat-free Greek plain yogurt
Put sugar, vanilla and cold whipped cream in a bowl. Using a hand mixer, mix at medium speed for two to three minutes, until the cream reaches its peak firmness. Then, fold or stir in the yogurt for about 15 seconds, until added.
What to eat with whipped cream
- This yogurt cream can be used with strawberries, but if the season is not good, it can be eaten with other fruits such as bananas, raspberries or peaches.
