What is the difference between broccoli and broccoli rabe?
Broccoli and broccoli rabe are similar but very different. Broccoli rabe, also known as rapini, has a thinner stem, smaller flowers, and green leafy vegetables.
Italian egg roll fillings
This is what is in these egg rolls:

- Shallots and garlic
- Salt, pepper, red pepper flakes

For these egg rolls, I sauteed sausages with broccoli rabe and shallots, then added garlic, salt, black pepper and red pepper, and white wine. Then I drain the mixture and add Parmesan cheese before filling the egg rolls.
How to freeze
These egg rolls can also be made in advance and frozen for snacks or application use.

- 16 ounce Uncooked Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage, Shell removed
- 1 Large chives, Chopped
- 3 Cup Raw Broccoli Rabe, Rapini, finely chop, discard large stems, use only thinner stems
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 ounce Liquor
- 1/4 Cup Grated parmesan cheese
- 12 Egg roll wrapping paper, Nasaya

In a large saucepan, add the sausage over medium high heat and start to decompose with a spatula, about 2 minutes.
