These Cuban-style black beans take your Latin flavor to the next level. Many flavors (Many flavors)! Easy to make and ready in 20 minutes, but don’t let it fool you, these beans have a lot of flavor.Healthy, high-fiber, vegetarian, gluten-free, cheap and delicious!
I like to mix and match Latin cuisines from different countries in Central and South America, and make dishes with a fusion of Latin flavors.Try to use some of my Latin favorites, for example Cilantro Lime Rice, Papago Beef, Sweet Pug Pork, Mexican slow-cooked pork meat, Slow cook sauce, with Delicious chicken, To name a few.
This is my recipe for busy nights, when I didn’t have time to make beans out of dry bags. Tommy likes this dish, so I make it often. My favorite is to eat it on rice, but you can also eat it on quinoa or with protein.

Quick Cuban style black beans
- 2 pcs teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 onion
- 2 pcs clove garlic
- 2 pcs Chives
- 2 pcs Spoon Red bell pepper
- 3 Spoon parsley
- 15 ounce Can black beans, Don’t lose (I prefer Goya)
- 1/2 cup water, Or more (if needed)
- 1 piece Bay leaf
- A few fennel, To taste
- pinch Oregano
- 1 piece teaspoon Red wine vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste

Chop the onion, garlic, shallot, red pepper and coriander in the mini chopper of the food processor.

Add the oil to a medium pot over medium heat.

Pour the vegetables into the pot and fry until tender, about 3 minutes.

Add beans, water, bay leaf, cumin, oregano, red wine vinegar, salt and black pepper, and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat and close the lid, immerse and cook for about 15 minutes from time to time (adjust the amount of water as needed).

Taste the salt and eat.
