If you are camping, on holiday, or just looking for a simple dinner that is easier to clean up, it is very easy to make foil-wrapped cheese sausage and peppers on the grill!
Foil Wrapped Cheese Sausage and Pepper
We like my sausages and peppers. These aluminum foil packages use horse-drawn and cheese to elevate its taste to a new level. I use Arrabbiata sauce for seasoning, which I highly recommend, but if you like light food, regular marinara is also fine. Tommy gave these bags two thumbs up!For more sausage and pepper recipes, try this One-pot roast potatoes, sausages and peppers with Pasta with Italian Chicken Sausage, Chili and Cilantro.
A foil wrapped dinner is easy to cook or camp in the evening on weekdays.I work with Reynolds Wrap and use their Renault Packaging® non-secondTick defeat. Non-stick foil is very suitable for cooking cheese or sticky food, because it will not stick, and it makes cleaning a breeze, allowing you to spend more time with your family. They even updated the packaging recently (look for the yellow non-stick pan at the grocery store) and added an easy-to-open and close label to keep the box completely closed in the drawer.
To make this simple dinner, I put onions and peppers in an aluminum foil bag with some marila sauce and let them cook on the grill until they become tender. When finished, add the sausage to the grill and cook, then slice it and add to the foil bag with the onion and pepper. Add the cheese to the opened package and let it melt for a few minutes. It was spicy and cheesy when it came out, so delicious!
How do I know which side to use non-stick foil?
The non-stick surface has a dull or flat surface. To help indicate which side is non-sticky, Reynolds Wrap® Non-Stick Foil is printed with the words “NON-STICK Side”, so make sure to use this side in this recipe or any cheesy and sticky food you make.
How to make an aluminum foil bag

- With the blunt side of the aluminum foil facing up, place the food in the center of the aluminum foil.
- Pull up the long side of the aluminum foil so that the two ends meet on the food.
- Fold both ends in half to leave room for heat to circulate inside.
- Fold the two short ends in half to seal the packet.
- Follow the instructions to bake or grill.
- notes: Be very careful when handling, because the data packet will be very hot. Use gloves or tongs to slide the small bag on the grill onto the plate or tray.
What to serve with sausage and chili
You can eat these salami foil packs on your own or with some crusty bread and a saladThey are also very suitable for sandwiches on a hoagie roll.
Variety:
- Replace Italian chicken sausage with turkey sausage. Or, if you want, you can heat up and use spicy sausage.
- Use bell peppers of any color you like or mix to make more colorful dishes.
- If you don’t have a grill, bake the peppers and onions in the aluminum foil bag in the oven at 400 degrees, and then grill the sausages.
