With the support of Metaplex Studios, NFT exists on the Solana blockchain.
“The Solana blockchain provides an extremely energy-efficient platform for NFT creators,” said Stephen Hess, interim CEO of Metaplex Studios.
Dr. Paul Predki is responsible for encoding the digital data of the NFT into a DNA sequence, and then storing the DNA in a naturally self-replicating bacterial cell.
