Monero (XMR) has successfully hard forked on November 30 with block number 1978433. The fork has changed the CryptoNightR mining algorithm to the new RandomX proof-of-work algorithm.

What is a hard fork?

With the focus on CPU, Monero developers believe that “the network will become more decentralized and equal in the distribution of block rewards”.
