The establishment of Hiveterminal AG marks the platform’s official entry into the Swiss market, which is the first step in a series of steps to bring the company into all DACH regions and the rest of Europe. The goal is to start establishing relationships with Swiss small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who want to obtain liquidity quickly and continuously without the hassle of applying for bank financing.

Hiveterminal is mainly for small and medium-sized enterprises. It is a blockchain-based invoice financing platform. It has crowdfunded USD 8.53 million from 2221 contributors who have become the owners of Hiveterminal’s own Hiveterminal token (HVN).

Hiveterminal was launched in 2018 and has now grown to support more than 4,000 registered companies, seeking to ensure fast and cheap liquidity for their businesses through the sale of invoice receivables. Nearly 300 investors from more than 40 countries use Hiveterminal to purchase invoices from trusted and verified companies, and use the platform’s real-time invoice risk scoring algorithm to find invoices that suit their risk preferences.

In addition, the Hive terminal platform can also be used in a closed ecosystem, or white label based on Software as a Service (SaaS) in its recently launched enterprise version (early payment gateway). In April 2020, Hiveterminal received an investment from a Swiss venture capital company to expand the company’s scale and expand to the DACH region. The solution is now available for companies in the DACH market.
