With (mostly) abandoned voice assistants and Wi-Fi radios, Bluetooth speakers are portable, able to venture out of the house and withstand harsh conditions, such as a beach or a humid Airbnb jacuzzi. They will also be used with any smart phone and are equivalent in sound to smart speakers.
