Garlic Shrimp

This recipe is inspired by one of my favorite Spanish dishes, Gambas al Ajillo or Spanish garlic shrimp. It usually swims in olive oil, so I lightened a little bit, but it is still just as delicious! ! It is bright, garlicky, and perfect with some crusty bread or rice! Best of all, it only takes 10 minutes to complete. If garlic is not your dish, you can browse all of my Shrimp recipe, like this Ceviche Shrimp These Shrimp Taquito Or these delicious Shrimp Omelet.

Garlic Shrimp Rice

One of my favorite proteins in the refrigerator is shrimp! For convenience, you can buy peeled and gutted ones, so all you have to do is defrost it and make your favorite dish. Shrimp takes 3 to 4 minutes to cook, so it is the perfect choice when you want to eat a high-protein meal without spending a lot of time. It is also an important source of lean protein.

This dish is the staple food of my family, because we are all shrimp lovers! It is also naturally free of gluten and dairy products, so it is suitable for many dietary restrictions.Try it Cilantro Lime Scallion Oil Rice On the side.

How to make garlic shrimp

This simple shrimp recipe is made with only a few ingredients:

  • Shrimp
  • garlic
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Mild Spanish paprika (Spices that make sausages red)
  • Crushed red pepper flakes, Is hot
  • Chopped parsleyFor decoration

What kind of shrimp is used in this garlic shrimp recipe?

I prefer to make garlic shrimp with bigger giant shrimps because they are more meaty and tastier, but honestly, the size doesn’t matter. If you use smaller shrimp, shorten the cooking time to avoid overcooking and hardening.

Should you peel the shrimp?

I always use peeled and eviscerated shrimp because it is easier to eat than shrimp and you have to peel it yourself.
