Opener Harnoor Singh’s unbeaten 100 helped India beat Australia by nine wickets in their pre-19 World Cup warm-up in Georgetown, Guyana.
Australia posted 268 runs before going all out in 49.2 runs with 117 by 18-year-old captain Connolly, a knock with 18 boundaries.
Hanooor led the charge for India, backed up by Shaik Rasheed on 72. Harnoor and Rasheed both retired with injuries, but captain Yash Dull (No. 50) crossed the line with 15 balls remaining on Tuesday.
The match will start on Friday and India will start against South Africa on Saturday.
In other matches, Bangladesh, England and Pakistan also scored impressive victories.
