The world governing body FIFA stated that Sydney will host the 2023 Women’s World Cup final at the Australian Stadium on August 20, and the co-host New Zealand will start the match at Eden Park in Auckland on July 20.
According to the FIFA schedule, both the Australian Stadium and Eden Park will have semi-finals, quarter-finals and 16 rounds. Brisbane’s Long Park and Wellington Regional Stadium, known locally as “cake tins”, will host another quarter-final.

The Australian Football Association said on Thursday that the co-host Australia will host 11 of the 16 knockout matches, while the women’s team will play all games at home. “From many perspectives, we are very satisfied with the game schedule,” Australian football team boss James Johnson said in a statement.

FIFA stated that the draw and detailed timetable for the game will be announced later.
